I don’t need a Hurricane resistant door. Do you offer a light duty design?
We could design any rolling door and security grille according to your needs. If you are looking for a light duty
door for an interior opening, we could manufacture it according to your specifications.

Which door mounting is the most appropriate for my building?
Depending on the application and the opening’s size, headroom and side room, you can choose either face of
wall or between jambs mounting. Please refer to the Common Mountings links in the Rolling Steel and Security
Grille pages.
Face of Wall
This is the most common door mounting. The door guides are mounted directly to the wall either inside or
outside the structure. Side clearance is allowed for tension wheel and operation mechanism.

Between Jambs
The door guides are installed between the jambs of the opening. The clear opening size will be reduced to allow
mounting of the counterbalance mechanism.

How should I measure the opening where the door(s) will be installed?
It is very important to determine which type of mounting is the most appropriate for your opening because the
measurements for each type of mounting are different.
Please refer to the following drawing to see the measurements needed to manufacture the door(s).

What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, check and if you are submitting payment from outside the United States, the best method of payment is
a wire transfer (please contact our office for wire transfer information).

Would you deliver the door(s) to my local freight forwarder?
We provide local delivery to freight forwarder or agent in Miami-Dade and Broward areas. The door(s) could
also be picked up at our warehouse. For large orders, a 20’ or 40’ container could be dropped off at our
warehouse to be loaded with the doors.

How do you protect the door(s) from being damaged in shipping?
The door(s) are shipped in a wood crate; in addition, each curtain and its hardware are protected with bubble
wrap and poly sheeting. However, the wood crate should be handled with care and no other objects should be
placed on top of it to prevent any damage.
How long will it take to receive the door(s)?
Usually it takes one week for the door to be manufactured and shipped to the freight forwarder.
How do I install the door(s)?
We will include an Installation and Maintenance Manual with every door. We recommend finding qualified
technicians to install the door and electricians to install the motor operators.
We cannot find qualified installers, can you assist with the installation of our doors?
If the customer requires, we can send a technician to assist and supervise the installation of the door(s) to any
part of the world. We can also send a technician for the final field check prior to the manufacture of the door(s).
